This is a (mostly) Computer Science blog that is maintained by Hussam Abu-Libdeh and Renato Paes Leme. We are PhD students at the Department of Computer Science at Cornell University. We intend to post short articles about Theory, Distributed Systems, and any other random topics that might cross our minds.
Hussam Abu-Libdeh is primarily interested in Distributed Systems. He is currently focused on systems in cloud computing and data center settings. He is also broadly interested in trust in cloud applications, and providing cloud services on edge machines.
Renato Paes Leme is primarily interested in Theory. Currently he is studying Game Theory but he is interested in all sorts of theoretical problems, for example Scheduling Theory, Metric Embeddings and Learning Theory.
